What is new about the 12 FCV?

Savage is promoting the 12 FCV as "new" on their web site:
    http://savagearms.com/promotions/

What exactly is new about it? The only difference that I can see is that it no longer comes with an Accustock.

Was there a Model 12 FCV last year, or was it just the 12 FV or possibly the 12 FCVSS (same gun but in stainless steel)? With Savage's alphabet soup model designations I can't keep up with or remember what's offered from year to year.

Edit: Just looked at the 2014 catalog, definitely nothing new about the 12 FCV for this year unless they've dumped the AccuStock and gone back to the standard tupperware piece.

I agree the models make your head spin. It seems like Remington is the same way.

Are they even making the AccuStock for 2015?

Is there some rumor that they are doing away with it?

I haven't heard or seen anything to that effect.
