I agree. If they still offered it, it would be the 9.5".
It's a shame they went to 11.5" for the 7mm-08's.

The 2009 catalog lists the twist for a 7 mm WSM as 10" but, strangely, doesn't list any rifles under that chambering. The current web site doesn't list anything is 7 mm WSM eitherOriginally Posted by geargrinder

I just received a semi custom rifle with a 7mm WSM Savage takeoff barrel, my crude tape test shows a 9 twist.
