    Greetings from BC

    Hello all,

New to the forum, looking forward to learning more about the savage platform.

I currently own in Savage :

    .22 fvsr
    .243 axis
    .30-06 axis II

among other rifles. I originally bought the .243 in a youth/compact to use as a light pack rifle as well serving double duty for the fiancée to shoot and to bang around in the truck. Even with the 6lb trigger it turned out to be my cheapest, yet ironically/frustratingly best grouping gun- go figure.

After having a great experience with the Cheapo Axis, I couldn't resist trying the axis II , this gun shoots even better.

It is depressing yet kind of fun owning the axis II (350$) and having it outshoot the ($1100) tikka.

So anyways, here I Am. Looks like a cool site, hopefully we all learn lots.

    Mike.
