New Savage 110 FCP HS, not to shooting! PA/SC member

    Hi all,

Just stopping by to say hello. Long time lurker on the forums and just purchased my first Savage rifle - figured it was a good time to join. These boards have been an invaluable source of information for especially through my decision making process.

Currently down in the Greenville, SC area for work but I call PA home. I just sold my Winchester Model 70 7mm Rem Mag to the local Cabela's and put an order in on a 110 FCP HS Precision .300 Win Mag. This rifle will be used solely for long range target shooting (I don't hunt). Here is my setup:

Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50mm EBR-1 MOA Reticle w/ Sun Shade
Nightforce 1 piece Long Action 20 MOA Base
Seekins Precision 30mm .87" Medium Scope Rings
Harris S-BRM 6"-9" Sling Swivel Bipod
    Defensive Edge Muzzle Brake
    Karsten Adjustable Cheek Rest

    And who doesn't like pictures:

I literally just ordered this stuff so it's going to take some time to come in. I'll be posting pictures once I receive everything, but in the meantime I'm looking forward to learning more and being a contributing member on the forums. Safe shooting!

Welcome to the site. You are welcome to join our monthly email matches here at Savage Shooters. We have both rimfire and centerfire matches. The rules are linked below. That new boomer you have on the way would likely compete well in the big bore (BB) classifications.
