New for 2015 models up on Savage website

    http://www.savagearms.com/firearms/allfirearms/

A few things I noticed at a glance:

12FCV: looks like replacement for the 12FV...bottom bolt release & DBM
10FCP-SR: 20" and 24" 308s with fluted barrels and 10rd factory magazines, as noted in a previous thread
10FLCP-SR: same as above for southpaws, but looks like 24" only
11 Scout: somebody's cup of tea, not mine...also 10rd factory magazine
11 Hog Hunter/Trophy Hunter XP: now offered in 338 Federal

Did they decide to ditch the accustock and go to bell and Carlson like Remington...that would be sweet. Even though many say the accustock is great for what it is, I was finally able to hold one in person and although it is definitely a good step up from the Tupperware stocks they have on lower models it still leaves a good bit to be desired compared to the bell and Carlson medalist classic. id rather buy a trophy hunter xp and throw here in a B&C. just feels better, looks better, and a bit stiffer in the forend. Just my two cents.

P.S. I know they didn't ditch it...just wish they would.

New single shot 338 lapua. MSRP is $1,100, which is $200 less than the LRH 338 lapua.

I am extremely happy that Savage has expanded production of various models. Slight increase in price, which is ok by me.

I am suprised that the model 10 Precision has been deleted, but the model 11 Scout looks interesting.

As a matter of curiosity why don't you just get a nice walnut version?

I have thought about this but I am an avid hunter not a bench rest shooter. it would be such a shame to beat up a nice walnut stock!

That is a good start, but I can't understand why they wouldn't put a 30 or 32" bull barrel on this.
