Can someone provide some info on this rifle? 375H&H Alaskan Guide

I just acquired a stainless 116 .375 H&H with a 20" barrel and Iron sights. It says Alaskan Guide on the bolt. I see Savage no longer makes this nor chambers rifles for this caliber. I would like to get another "better" synthetic stock for it but can't seem to find any. Ideas? It also needs a mag spring, can I get a standard LA spring or does it have to be a magnum spring?
Any idea on value? I know I got a smoking deal, but there isn't even one on gunbroker to compare it to. I got the rifle and 25 rounds plus a nice Pentax scope and rings and a leather sling for $400.00.

    Thanks in Advance,

The .375 H&H Savages used a longer than standard magazine and action cut out. I believe these were also the same as the .458 Win Mag. Savage never made a lot of guns in these chamberings. The other offering was the Model 116 Safari Express.

I guess you could try a magnum spring & follower and maybe it will work.

You may need to do some fitting to your new stock to clear the bigger magazine.
