    Difference in Bolt heads

I was curious about the difference between a bolt head for a right bolt left port(eject) PTA and a left hand bolt head. Are they interchangeable. I am working on changing calibers for on a LRPV and needed to know what to search for..

Left and right eject bolt heads are not interchangeable. If you try to flip one around 180 degrees you will see that the ejector plunger will end up towards the top of the bolt and this will force the spent round down instead of up and out the ejection port. On dual port Savages, it's the ejection port that determines which bolt head you will need.
