    Butterknife bolt handle ?

Are there any currently produced aftermarket bolt handles for Savage that resemble the old Manlicher butter knife bolt handles? I think they are elegant, unique and would look great on a custom build.

Nope, you want something like that it's going to have to be a custom one-off.

And on an Axis? Even loving both the rifle and butterknife bolt handles like I do, I wouldn't mix the two. It's not my cup of tea, but, if you can get something to work, I'd love to see it.

Those curves would be a real pain with no CNC but who knows. The other catch I can see is the bolt handle directly over the trigger would make it tough to get that steep descending angle correct without bolt slap on the trigger finger during firing. An interesting challenge indeed.
