111 trophy hunter xp 30-06 help

I just picked up a 111 trophy hunter xp in 30-06 and I have some questions, and looking for advice. I'm thinking about a Boyd's thumb hole stock in nutmeg or pepper unless anyone has other suggestions. I also want to get some new rings and mount for the Nikon scope( I do plan on getting better glass soon) for now does anyone know if I can get flip up covers and what size. Any help and or thoughts would be great!

Take alook at Royal Jacaranda. Savage uses it on a lot of dealer only builds and I have 3 stocked this way and the desert camo or sunset and both are attractive and blend into fall like colors.
Willing to give back for what the sport has done for me!

They have directions for how to select proper sizes. Some of the comments are helpful too.
