    Loctite on stock bolts


    Do you guys find you have to loctite the bolts that hold the aftermarket stocks on, 308 cal ?

    No, never have as of yet.

    If you find the need, try using some cheap nail polish in place of loc-tite. Works well on keeping screws from loosening, but releases easily when torque from the wrench/driver is applied. Cheaper too.

    I had to use blue loctite on all my fastners, stock bolts included. Easily removable with hand tools.

    Purple Loctite will prevent movement and it's easy to remove the bolts when you need to.

    I had to locktite the stock bolts on the factory stock on my 116.

    I loctite all my bolts now. Nothing worse than something throwing your shot off at the worst moment
