    Hello from the Texas Panhandle!

A few years ago I picked up a 10 fcp sr, I was in the market for a .308 and I liked the look and features of the rifle. After working up a good load I was very impressive with the capabilities of this rifle and, have added more Savages to my collection since. Quite possibly the best out of the box rifles in production. I am blessed to both work and play outdoors in the wide open spaces of Texas. I'm an avid hunter and hiker, if I'm indoors, it's at the request of my better half or I'm at the loading bench. There's tons of good information in these forums and I hope I can make a contribution from time to time.

Dalhart must look like a wagon wheel from the air.Every cross road in the panhandle has a sign pointing to Dalhart.

Dalhart is the gateway to the mountains. The mountains of Northeastern New Mexico, where Texas money sustains the economy.
