    Another new guy from NC


    Hello everyone.

    I am just posting a quick introduction. I have been hunting and shooting my entire life. I don't currently own a savage, although I have a safe full of other firearms. I recently got in the market to build a long range target rifle to use in my free time at the range. That project has led me to join this site, as there is a wealth of great information about the topic. As soon as I find an action (hopefully one will pop up in the classifieds), you can expect to find me asking questions as the build moves along and hopefully posting pictures when I am done. I am currently a graduate student on a super budget so my first build is going to be a slow process, but hopefully with help from you all on this site I can avoid some costly mistakes. Thanks for the great site!
