So first off I would like to thank everyone on this site who helped answer my (dumb) questions, and I would also like to thank those of you who just posted great info on the "how-to's" of customizing a savage rifle. Just a few short months ago I had absolutely no idea how to custom build a Savage from the action up, but after reading all the posts and seeing all of the pictures of guys who had custom built their own rifles, I knew I had to tackle this project myself. I started off with an older (pre-accutrigger) Savage model 11 that was actually my very first deer-hunting rifle. It had been collecting dust for a while so it seemed like the perfect candidate for a complete re-build. Well, enough background, here's the list of after-market goodies already installed:

1) McGowen Stainless Steel, Varmint Contour, 1:8 Twist, 26" (28" w/brake), 6.5 Creedmoor
- McGowen installed one of their "Turbo Brakes" at the factory before delivery
2) B&C Tactical Medalist A2 Stock
- Originally black w/ red web, decided to repaint desert tan w/ black web
3) Bench Source Picatinny Base, 20MOA Taper
4) Valdada IOR 30MM Tactical Precision Rings
5) Rifle Basix SAV-2 Trigger Assembly
6) Glades Armory Custom Bolt Handle and Knob
7) SSS Stainless Steel Precision Recoil Lug
8) Replaced plastic trigger guard w/ stainless steel guard
9) Glass- Swarovski PH 6-24x50MM w/TDS-4 Reticle, 30MM Tube

Future Upgrades:

1) PTG Bolt Body, Fluted
2) Bipod

I should be receiving some factory ammo I ordered from Midway to test her out tomorrow, so I'll send you guys an update after I'm able to sling some lead downrange.... although I might have to wait until the weekend to shoot :/
