    110-FNS Bolt

Hello I have a chance to buy this rifle, its labeled 110-FNS, the reason for this post is I haven't seen the lug on the right side of the bolt near the front of the receiver? Can the bolt head be changed? this one is a 250 savage. Thanks!

This i long action receiver, chambered for a short action round, hence the long lug to stop rearward travel at the short round length. Bolt head can be swapped out as with any 110 bolt, but if you are going to a longer caliber you will also need to change that front baffle too.

That's probably what limits the bolt travel backwards to line up the next cartridge in the mag well. See if you can get a pic of the bolt out of the action.

    ***Got beat to it.
