H414 and W760 are the same powder....different packaging and quite possibly different lots, but they are the same powder
I sure would like to get some H414 powder for the new 243 AI. Looking at a burn rate chart, W760 and H414 are #109 and #110 respectively. I did my fireforming with 760 and was happy. I could have 'sworn' I had a can of H414, but alas, not in my cabinet.......
I tried every on-line vendor I could think of, but no joy....

Mudpig (cool name!)
I knew they were too close to each other on the burn chart. I have a lot of 760. The 414 was recommended on a lot of different sites for the 243 AI.
I'm going to try different primers for the first round of AI loads. I just didn't like the look of the WLR primers under a 'moderate' load of 760 using 70 gr bullets.
Kinda like all the discussions about 223 CFE, versus XXXXX
Just want a fun load in the new HB Axis.........
thanks again!

Wish you were close to me... I have just shy of a pound I will most likely not use...
n4ue,
PM sent...
Graf's was running a sale on 414/760 + primers and such last week...
760=414=AA2700
I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.
I have an unopened can I'll probably never use, pm me if interested.
Recobstargetshop.com has 1 and 8 pound containers of H414 listed in stock
Good to hear, I have a customer of theirs for over 14 years and I have been in their store about once every three weeks for a while now since I got back into reloading. Before that I bought all my clay pigeons there as they were much cheaper than wal mart and would help me load them with their forklift- I bought a lot
