EGW 20 moa scope rail help

This is my first time using a rail like this and there are no instructions.
Can someone please explain which end goes to the bolt end of the rifle?

The thickest end which causes the scope to tilt downward.

You might want to look at EGW web site also.
I believe the long end points to the front.
