    Cross bolt adaptation question

I have an old mid length receiver ("J" series) 110 that is right hand. In light of the right bolt left port variations that are out, would it be possible for me to put a LH bolt (in a LH stock of course) and use the RH head for right port ejection?

The reason I ask is I shoot LH and this rifle has a lot of sentimental value and would like to use it more. I CAN shoot it LH as is but it would be a lot slicker with a LH bolt right port setup.

Yes it can - I changed a SA target action for a good friend to left hand bolt right hand port.

Lugs in receiver have to be cut to cam the bolt head in.

A left hand rear baffle and bolt handle are needed.

A cut has to be made in the left hand side of the receiver for the bolt handle to close and for proper looks - the right hand cut should be filled in.

OK thanks, not sure if I want to modify it to that extent though. Food for thought. Thanks
