I would start at 40gr, and probably end up around 45gr as far as RL17 and 140s go.

Varget works really well 120 thru 140gr. Around 39grs Varget with 130's and 38grs with 140's. It's a little slower than H4350 & R17; however, the accuracy makes up for it.

45gr RL17 with a 140 is pretty warm...but a workup from 40 like one would H4350 is smart.

I had a 26" 1:8 Criterion and 43.5gr launched 130 Bergers @ 3030fps, with room to lean on it.

I can't believe you would put logic in this equation. If the OP has h4350, then enough said.
