I am looking for info on a rifle I have had a for a few years it is a 112 .223 w/ 18.5" heavy barrel. Serial F168xxx I can't find any info on a model with this length barrel, it seems to have a factory crown same as my 22-250 with a 26" any Info and when was it manufactured.

Serial# would put it about 1992-ish, obviously it's a model 112 (long action, heavy barrel) barrel length..who knows, that was over 20 years ago. It could have been a special run, or someone could have done a professional job of cutting and recrowning. Don't get the impression that this could be something rare or collectable, there were a lot of oddballs not in the catalog.
