    In search of Wallmounting Solutions

Looking to Mount 3 Savages to a wall horizontally. If I were skilled with wood at all I would just make some but...i'm not. I really like the idea of getting the solitary, felt lined metal hooks set so I can adjust for my busttock to keep in level. However, I'm running in to one problem.

The challenge is, I like my Choate Tacical stocks, the for-end with the bipods is a good 3.5 wide, and the widest of the hooks openings are 2 inches or so. I really don't like the idea of just putting the barrel in a hook for extended storage, maybe I'm OCD but those pipes ain't cheap!

This is what i'm talking about: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-4-off-set-...item2c85fcf816

    Maybe something like this...

I would check Lowes of Home Depot first, might be cheaper.

Why couldn't you just bend the ones from ebay to the shape you need?

That probably should have been an obvious solution to me, it wasn't. That sounds like the cheapest solution by a longshot.

I use the large ladder hooks. They will hold two rifles each.

There's always the old time solution. Shoot a decent buck, Mount the antlers on the wall, Hang the rifles in the antlers, They don't call it a rack for nothin

I actually found a seller on ebay that sells a set with a 3'' opening, that should fit my needs nicely. I figured I would use a couple scrap pieces of 2x4 to set them a bit away from the wall so my scope turrets clear it.
