    Setting col with rifle chamber

Should the firing pin or ejector be removed from the bolt to get precise seating depth? I Thought that I read somewhere that there could be interference from one or the other but I can't remember. Tried advance search but no luck.

Yes... you don't want the ejector prematurely shoving the case ahead , firing pin removal is more to do with being able to "feel" how much resistance you actually have.

Same thing when you are setting up your sizing dies for that particular gun... Remove the pin and the ejector , this way you have a better feel of when the bolt is actually starting to either get easier or slightly harder to operate when cycling sized brass..
