    Spring tweak

    Tweak on my 223 Axis
Just going off my digital scales my trigger pull was 7.8 when I started. I removed 1 coil and it is now 4.2.
About a 5 minute job. It took me longer to weigh the trigger pull.
Hopefully I can get to the range tomorrow and test it.

Decided it was time to tweek the trigger on my axis (30/06) , factory wt was 8.1lbs , cleaned up the 10x24 thds with a tap , and than found i didnt have a suitable replacement spring , threaded the factory back in thought it seemed to seat deeper than originaly so i checked the pull again and it broke at 4,1lbs ,think i will leave it alone.

See how it shoots. 4.1 seems doable.
Shot mine the other day can't say I grouped any better. But the trigger was at least tolable. Might not have helped that there was a 10-15 mph wind. I want to hit the range again soon.
