    What Model?

I was in a Cabelas and saw a rifle that I had never seen before. The tag said it was a model 16. Caliber was 308 but what has thrown me is that I can't find anything like it on the internet under model 16's. It has accu-trigger, accu-stock and is stainless but it also has a fluted barrel. I wish I had taken a pic of it now but I had it shipped to a store nearer to me. It was used. Anyone help me out on this or was it mismarked?

Weather warrior with a factory fluted barrel. They no longer list the fluted barrel option on the website, but they had them in the lineup shortly after the Remington Sendero came out and tried to compete. Most have a magnum contour barrel on them, slightly thinner than a varmint barrel. I have a 116 in the same configuration plus the Savage adjustable muzzle brake.
