    Bedding a 110 recoil lug

Anyone know of a youtube or picpost that shows a good way to bed the recoil lug, maybe an additional 2" forward? It's for a wood stock that the previous owner sorta botched and I had to remove anyway since the SSS stainless lug is thicker than stock. I have some idea but bedding is not in my bag of tricks. Plus, I have a perfect example of what NOT to do. Will relieve some wood etc, I just want it right. Method and material. Thanks as always, kb

I use JB Weld, have been for years. It is inexpensive, easy to work with and does a great job.

Some will recommend Devcon, nothing against Devcon but it's a bit on the expensive side for this "Weekend Super Sniper / Super Hunter".

IF you use JB Weld , let it set after you mix it to thicken up like peanut butter

I don't let it set that long, each his own.

I do use Kiwi natural shoe polish for the release agent and apply it with a small paint brush about 5/16" to 3/8" wide. Make sure you let it set a full day before separating.

I used JB weld on my lug, worked perfect. Kiwi also makes a good release agent.
