    New 111 trigger swap help

I bought a new 111 that now I wish I wouldn't have but that's another story. (Should've bought another 700). It's a non accutrigger and want to install a timmney I revived the new trigger but installed no matter how adjusted will dry fire on safe. The old spring won't fit on the new trigger. I'm going to call timney Monday but was hoping someone could help. The spring isn't listed in the instructions and the supplied one doesn't affect safety engagement.

The Timney doesn't use the original piano wire WOP/Reset spring. It uses a coil spring supplied with the trigger.

The reset/WOP spring has nothing to due with the safety engagement. Anytime the sear engagement is adjusted the safety must also be adjusted. As you increase/decrease the sear engagement the trigger moves (pivots) forward/back which changes the the safety engagement. In fact its the last adjustment made( step 3, fine tuning) after the sear engagement, over travel and WOP are set.
