In Need of Some Advice On What To Do.

I went and picked the rifle up today. Although it needs a little TLC, I'm happy with the purchase. Below are the pictures of the rifle, along with the Japan Tasco that is on it.



Here is a better picture of the Japan Tasco. It is a 6x24x40 and goes up in power by 2x. Has made in Japan on the bottom of it along with the duel crosshair running horizonal in the retical.



Scope also has this option on it, which gives distances and several species of animals. The distances change in number as you increase the power of the scope. I've never seen one like this before. But again, I've never dealt with Japan Tasco's before.



Here is the the elevation dial looks like in top of the scope. The windage dial is marked like a normal scope with 1/4" adjustment per 100 yards.



Here is the crown on the end of the barrel. I mentioned it looked like that of a Hart barrel based on another one I looked at that I knew was a Hart. However, I don't know what the barrel maker is. I'm gonna take the rifle apart when I get home to see if I can maybe find a manufacture name on it anywhere.
