    left handed scope mount


    Im new here but just going to throw it out there i recently bought a savage 308 10 fcp-k left handed rifle with a millet 6-25x56 illumnated mildot scope but i am having a hard time finding a scope mount thats works on my left hander and if i do find one there are either sold out or back ordered..

    I like Weaver or egw one piece rails and Burris Signature Zee rings. They are available many places, such as Joe Bob Outfitters. If they are out of stock, most reputable dealers have some sort of way to send you an email when they come back into stock.

    If you wish, you can become a paid member and then have access to the classifieds here. Sometimes, but of course, not always, rings and rails are available there.

    Look at the stickey at the beginning of this section for information on determining how high your rings should be so your scope clears the barrel.

    Don't forget to get a left hand torque drive to properly mount.

    You can use a regular one but only in reverse.lol

    RH ones work just fine. I have EGW and Weaver Tactical's on all my LH guns.

    There is very little difference. Just a slight bevel on one side. Not enough to matter.



    If you really wanted to, it would take about 5 minutes with file or dremel.

    I have an EGW rail on my FLCP-K (left handed) in 308...i like it and it fit's and performs well.
