    Everything I can see looks the same as a regular Accu-trigger and the tool normally engages the cross section of the spring. What I am wondering is what is this little chunk of wire I have indicated with the blue arrow in the pic below?

    If you don't want to wait for the tool to adjust the spring you can turn the spring by hand. It's easy when you remove the trigger from the housing.
