I emailed Winchester and got the following reply today - 8/25/2014


Question:
What is the future of the 17 Super mag ammo? Will anyone else be making this ammo ?
There is none to be had anywhere except scalpers trying to get $40 - $60 a box for it..


Answer:This product is very new and in high demand. You should begin to see an increase in the supply in the upcoming weeks.

Seems I have heard the same story when asking how long it took to send back a different B-Mag from Savage.
