I would be interested in one also. Perhaps with a 1/4" socket so you have more options like screw driver bits and nut driver bits. It would seem like a decent product that would sell to the tactical crowd.

I have a Savage duel port target action which is stainless steel. Where can I get a new tactical bolt handle with a socket (on the end of handle) that fits tactical scope ring nuts that tighten the rings to a Picatinney rail?

You take the bolt out and use the bolt body as the handle and the handle becomes the wrench.Originally Posted by Blue Avenger

Like in this video. Go to 7:10 in the video and watch to see what we are talking about, a bolt handle with a wrench. That particular handle if for a specific set of rings but if someone had one with a 1/4" drive I believe it would be more useful.
Here is the video
It is an interesting video in its own right because it is reviewing the HD Razor from Vortex,

I'm thinking that if you are gonna carry around a bunch of 1/4" drive stuff, then why not just carry a shortened 1/4" ratchet.
because thats not tacticool u need a swiss army bolt handle ;D
It would be tacticoool if you painted it black or camo.
how did someone come up with such an idea! i like it but very unorthadox thinking!!! maybe dolomite can tune this idea up some for his free deals.

I just realized some of us already have a 1/4" drive on our bolts, at least the guys with some bolts do.
I seriously doubt trying to loosen a set of scope rings is going to loosen the BAS. As far as tightening nothing probably to worry about.

Well, if you want the bolt handle to be a wrench it seems to me that it would be pretty easy to machine a hole in the end of the bolt handle sized to take a steel socket of the correct size. Weld the socket to the bolt handle and grind/polish smooth. Or conversely, insert and weld in an socket adapter and you can carry different sockets for different applications. Machining a round hole would be much easier than trying to cut the sides of a socket.
Now there's a good idea!

Maybe someone sould say something to Savage, and they can market it is the "Accu-tool." Why not, they have the accu-stock, inside the accu-stock is the accu-wedge, and prior to all of this was the accutrigger.
I'd like mine to be a ratchet torque wrench. Call me when you get past the development stage. ;D ;D
Even if someone provided all that stuff for me to test at no charge, I still would not be able to drag the rifle through a pond and drop the scope off of a tower.

Soon they will have the Accu Pod and the Accu Phone too.

this guy makes it for a remington. He also does some savage handles so I'm sure he could put it together.
