The bigger 80 and 90 bullets are where it's at. My load for the 80 Amax in 22-250 is 34.5g of Alliant Power Pro 2000MR in Lapua brass, BR2 primers seated to 2.60. I'm getting 3200 FPS out of my 26" barrel. Consistent hits out to 1000 at only 27 MOA and .30 groups at 100.
You need to hotrod that 22-250Ai load a little to get it up to speed...

I'm pushing 80gr Nosler's at just under 3400fps through my 26" Douglas with 39.4 grains of H4350 over a BR2 primer in Norma brass. Granted, all my cases have an ejector mark on the case head but the bolt lift isn't any harder than normal. Same load I've been using for 9 years and I haven't had a single issue in that time, but it's definitely on the warm side and one you'd want to slowly work up to. Drop at 1k should be around 25.6 MOA (calculated) but the furthest I've ever had the chance to shoot it was 800 yards and that was so long ago I couldn't even guess as to what the dope was.
