Very nice tutorial. Thanks a bunch for putting it together and sharing. The stock looks good! I noticed that on your cardboard mock-up that the digital pattern on the stock butt looks like the initials "FH". I don't know if that was intentional or not but it is an idea that could be used to incorporate your initials into the digital pattern and personalize the rifle.
EDIT::: Okay, I have been inspired! I have a "Frankenrifle" that I have put together in .270 and was wanting to do something with the stock. Thought about buying a new one but I have to try this first. I took the rifle apart already and started the process. I masked off the checkering pattern and the Indian head grip cap so that they are preserved and the rest will be digital. And I think I will sneak my initials into the pattern somewhere.
