    NSS recoil lug

Don't know where else to post it ??? Has anyone measured the height on his lug ? I noticed when I got my stock back on I had more barrel channel space. I first thought it was the difference in barrel dia. but they was the same. Didn't want to take it back off just to get that measurement. Thank's Dale

If you have more barrel channel space then it must be bottoming out in the stock. To be sure you'll have to take it out, put some clay in the lug area of the stock, and put the action back in to see if it is hitting.

No matter what the measurement is, youll still need to know if it is hitting.

yep. Easiest way is to use a dremel(carefully), and just make the pocket deeper. Be sure not to grind out the rear of the lug area of the stock, unless you plan on bedding it.

The aftermarket lugs are a little wider down the sides also, so it could be hitting there also.
