    Did you try savage directly, they always have that stuff in stock.

    I changed out a few of mine. it does make a difference the way it tightens up. No more squished trigger guard.

    That is one of the things I notice right away, I have seen it match barrel aftermarket stock and high end optics, complemented with a plastic trigger guard. OUCH

    Now my feeling are hurt. I hate paying retail. Savage shooters have always come through for me and I just got impatient. Doh! Oh well. I just need to lick my wounds and dry my eyes and get over it!
