Need some trigger Info.

I am doing a 110 Savage for a 300 WM build and found it had about 25 Thousands of side play in the trigger hanger. I had some small brass shim washers but have used them all. I can't find any so I am going to try to make some, I want to put one on each side of the trigger. I did find some small size wave washers at a local hardware store. I put one of them in and it seems to work but I don't like it all on one side. Has anyone done this before with the wave washers?

Brass or aluminum feeler gauges work well for shim stock.

Thanks JCalhoun I thought about that, but the only feeler gauges I have now are steel. I guess I will have to make a trip to walley world. LOL

I use the brass washer's, one on each side. I "thin" them down on a stone, or sandpaper, to make them fit equally :) Jim
