    110 from 1996

Guys I have a line on a great condition 110 in 3006 made in 1996. Internal mag. Price is 380. Can anybody give me a reason not to jump on this. merits to detachable vs internal mag?

    Thank you!

I'm of the opinion that $380 is too much for a used (assuming so due to its age) 110 in a standard caliber. However, I say that based on what they typically go for in my region (North Central and Western Maryland - South Central Pa.).

I'm used to paying less than $300 (most time in the $240-275 range) for very nice examples of 110's with and without scopes and accessories .

    I apreciate it.

I kind of agree as I might as well spend 250 more and buy new...

$350 to $450 is pretty much the national standard these days for a complete and original/unmolested flat-back Savage 110 rifle. Any lower than that and you've found yourself a good bargain, any more and it better have a darn good scope on it to justify the higher price.
