    22-250 and Accurate 2520

All the stores around here have sold all the powder and all I could get my hands on was Accurate 2520 and 2015. Anyone have any pet loads for the 22-250 and these powders?

Hey Brian 2520 falls right in between H4895 and Varget burn rate, It is a very fine powder and meters well, as far as pet loads you know who you are dealing with here, so here it goes, 40gr of 2520 mated to a 40gr Vmax is a match made in heaven.

As a matter of fact it is a fast little booger, especially when mated to that 14 twist barrel.

I do not have anything for 52gr Berger's, but I do for 52gr Amax's, I loaded 36gr of 2520 and they were worthy, and the load was not hard on the brass at all.

Guess I'll get out today and do a little load developing. Down to my last 300 lr primers, something's gotta give here. Small rifle and magnum primers are plentiful, may have to go the magnum route and develops something with those

You can use mag primers with faster powders, just reduce your load by 10% and you will be fine.
