I liked yours so much I decided to rework mine.

Stevens in 223 cut the barrel back to 18" and reworked the stock.

Now it just needs a new paint job.

Sure liked the way that little 204 handled after the treatment. Should have just unpainted the fussy 204 barrel and kept the action/stock........A guy can NEVER have too many short action Savages around!!
Did you notice if it rides the bipod any better now?
Had the 25-06 Axis out for the first time today....If it shoots as good as it did today on the next outing its getting the treatment too

The whole gun feels a lot more ridged now. The stock doesn't even move when I put solid tension on it with the sling. I will have t see how it does on the range.

hey guys. got some nice looking rigs here!!

new to the site but not shooting, hunting or savages!!!

this was my next project. started as a .243 center grip. bought it as a 6BRX center grip with 10 rounds down 8 twist kreiger. changed it to a tonys rear grip and rifle basix trigger. also bedded with 4-16 monarch and soon a mini muscle brake. shoots amazing. shot a deer at 496 last year with it! amazing. 95 VLD at 2775 with 16" barrel

this is my ML-II that I just changed over to a houge stock. trigger worked. great gun nikon 3-9 omega
above it is my latest project. a striker started as 7mm-08. now has .50 ML-II barrel shortened to 16". custom plug takes 45 ACP case. shoots 250 SST at over 1900 FPS. cant wait till deer season with this!!!

All have been dura coated ultra flat black. hope you like

    My New Predator max.

New PREDATOR Max. Not a round through it, (.243) Coated the metal with Duracoat, Shake n' Spray. It's supposed to be Magpul Flat dark Earth, but it seems a tad light. I am happy with it! Thanks for looking!

BSA 4-16 Mil dot scope, and a Burris Fast Fire II for the close ones!
This first pic is the closest to the actual colors.

Re: Post a Picture of your Rig(s)

Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum even though I've been shooting a Savage since 1959. I have Remingtons and Brownings, but for serious shooting I always drag out a Savage or two. This is one.
Older Savage 110 in 30-06. Boyds stock, Tasco target scope.

This is what it will do when I'm up to it
