Mike I retired from the US Army, and I agree with you. As an adult you are entitled to consume whatever beverage you choose. It is wrong to be denied this, but you and me alone wont solve this childish issue...its going to have to come from some top brass. What I would like to know is where you got that great big picatinny rail from? I would like to see more of their products.
Thanks for any info you can provide.
thanks for your service.

"This rifle is mine...there are many like it but this one is mine"..... I know this isn't earth shattering but I sure do like it so far. Just got it together and will take it to the range this week. Stevens short action, Criterion 26" varmit contour in .308 Winchester, Rifle Basix Sav1 trigger, NSS barrel nut and recoil lug, B & C Medalist Tactical stock, Bushnell, Tactical Elite 10x40. I still want another bolt handle and will have it Duracoated once I make certain that all is well.
Here is the wife's and my Savage Rifles, the Lefties are hers.
Got a new hard case for my 110FCP :) Custom cut foam...got it right the first time haha
6.5x55 mcgowen barrel, choate stock, bushnell elite tactical scope.
Predator .243, RWS brake, MCS-T stock, Vortex 6-24x50, Seekins rings, Weaver base, Harris bipod, Eagle pack, RatMag Magazine.

So far it really likes the 208 AMax loaded with A1680, but I'm just getting started.
Mine is not all that impressive, but it is my first Savage.
Savage 111FNS .30-06 with EGW 20MOA base, Burris XTR 30mm rings, and Bushnell Elite 6500 2.5-16X42 with the DOA600 reticle.
The next item is a Boyd's Classic laminate stock.

Nice pic actually, I like the composition. As to the rifle, nothing wrong with it either. What shell holder is that you're using?
I believe it is a Mil-Tech. I don't really like it. The front strap is in the way of my cheek weld. I have one of the strap on stock pouches for another rifle that is better.
Gotcha, thanks for the info. It looks nice, not bulky and loose like a lot of the others I've seen.
It is a well made shell holder for as inexpensive as it is. Seems to be good quality elastic that won't stretch out quickly, and the shell holder itself is double thick heavy nylon. I like the stock packs better, but if this is the style you like, it should serve you well.
