That's wonderful...
I didn't find this posted here yet so...
From over on Sniper's Hide...
andYes! We are excited to introduce a new AICS for the Savage 10/110. It will be available Q1 of this year.
The rest of the thread available http://www.snipershide.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=1537337&gonew=1 #UNREAD"]here.[/url].. (reminder: SH isn't exactly work/family safe - enter at your own risk)...this will be first off released for the Model 10 Short Action with the Accu-Trigger, not the older designs. The AICS Savage I will expect will expect and estimate available in June/July 2010 and possibly earlier. The Model 110 Long Action will be later in the year well after the S/A release.
To the design and which bolt spacing model, this will be for the current models ONLY, not going for a "retro-fittable" chassis for the past designs.
That's wonderful...

What's a price estimate?
I know their remington stocks go for $850 - $1000 depending on model (last time I checked). Right around the same price as Scott at McRee Precision I believe?? It is nice that you can fit VLD's into AICS mags though... it is so tempting to drop the money for a setup with one. Imagine having 10 rounds of reliable feeding with up to 2.900" OAL...
Wonder if they'll offer a money-saver like Stockade. ;D
Probably still couldn't afford it.
