Converting 10FP to 6.5 Creedmore?

Have a Savage 10FP in 308 Win. Would like to convert it to 6.5 Creedmore. Easy as just the barrel switch?

but this is good to know, I think a 10FP with the HS or McM stock would be very nice in a 6.5 CM
