Also forgot to include it has an internal magazine...
Ok first off i an new to this site so i hope i am posting this question in the right spot....2nd i hope i don't sound dumb just a novice gun enthusiast so i apologize in advance... I have a savage model 10 308 rifle w/ a 24" bull barrel and a McMillan stock and accutrigger... I was just wondering if there was any way to identify what actual model this gun is by numbers or markings?
Also forgot to include it has an internal magazine...
It sounds like it's a Model: 10 FCP McMillan Law Enforcement Series rifle.
That's what it looks like just was not sure because the barrel says model 10 a2 sp10 it is not marked fcp...
It won't be marked that specific. The roll stamp will give the basic model #, the rest of the alphabet soup has to do with the rest of the configuration such as stock, magazine and other options. The A2 is an assemblers I.D. and the SP10 is a proofer's I.D.
"As long as there's lead in the air....there's still hope.."
Ok never thought of that... I did call savage it turns out it is a savage fp leb2 made in dec 2003.... And from what i understand is discontinued and replaced by the fcp...Next question any one know approx value in very good shape?
