sightron SII 3x9x42 vs Nikon Monarch 2.5x10x42

Needing to outfit new 7m-08 this year and with all the options it can be confusing. I am not a scope guru or anything so after looking for the past few weeks I have settled on the above two. I have seen through the nikon and have a prostaff now but I have never seen a sightron except online. I did read a few reviews and some article for chuck hawkes but still am not sure.

Does anyone here have any experience with this sightron model and which would you choose? How do the optics match up?

Price point wise I am looking to spend 400 or less plus rings and bases, the monarch is 300 and the sightron is 274 plus a 50 dollar mail in rebate. The conquest is a flat 400 bucks but is it really worth the additional 100 to 145 bucks?

The Conquests are a truly fantastic scope and Cameraland often has demo units for $350.
Can't tell them from new and full warranty applies.

That said, they are rather bulky, especially the ocular housing.

The regular Sightron SII is decent but the SII Big Sky is a spectacular scope and with this deal posted by Stangfish this would be hard to beat if you can do gloss.

The Monarch would be my last choice of those above.

Yes this is for hunting 400yds and less.

I cant see the link so it must be a paid part of the site. I found a sightron SII Big sky 3x9x42 marked for closeout with the dot reticule, has anyone used it before?

sheep dog, go to the Sightron site and check if the SII Big Sky you mentioned has a $100.00 rebate. My SII Big Sky w/duplex reticle has a $100.00 rebate.
