    model 110 cocking indicator?

Just joined this forum because I just bought my first Savage. My question is that this LH 110 (used) has no indicator at side of action and it looks like there isn't a cut for one. My serial number starts with a "G" and it has an accutrigger. Can anyone enlighten me?

The bolt release is actually the cocking indicator, but if in your case the bolt release is on the bottom in front of the trigger guard, the cocking indicator is on the rear of the bolt assembly screw.
