Good stock for a mdl.10 243 with standard barrel?

What would be a good drop in stock around a $100 for a mdl. 10 .243?
    Thanks Jeff

a B&C Duramax if you want a synthetic stock

a Boyds or a Stockys laminate if you want wood.

i have 2 of the Boyds stocks, 1 is the classic and the other is the thumbhole (both are for LA). both free float the barrels and are drop in stocks. i like them and i'm waiting to get one for my SA varmint barrel set-up.
if you like wood, i would highly recommend Boyds and you can't beat the price!

Are your rifles standard barrels or bull barrels?

these barrels are standard sporter contours.
my next stock will be for an varmint contour.

actually i think it feels lighter. they should have that info on the Boyds site or you can call and talk to them, they have been good people to talk to and deal with. you may want to get the longer action screws they offer also.
looking at the two different stocks i have from their site, the classic is about 2.8lbs and the thumbhole is 2.25-2.5lbs.
