Sharp shooter trigger affect T&T?

I noticed on his website that it says adjustable pull weight travel and engagement. Whats the adjustable engagement and would that have any effect on the work done by a true and time?
I only ask because I know that when he does a true and time he adjusts the sear engagement to properly time it. Would getting a different trigger change that?
