    model 10

i have purchased a savage model 10 in .223. i cannot find any info on the model 10, there are several combo set up but nothing like the one i got. it has a wood stock, blue finished barrell, no magazine its top loaded,2 bolts to mount trigger and 1 on the forestock. i mounted a bushnell 3x9x40 trophy series on it. only 100 rds through it at this point just looking for additnal info. first place i looked was savage web site the gunbroker no luck. thanks

go to the parts finder on the savage website
type in the rifle serial # and you might get some information like full model # and available parts from savage

    10 means short action.
C means clip fed usually...but you say no in your post.
    Y means youth stock.
xp means scope and base package.
