Im not familiar with 6 crusader but 20 or more years ago ther was a group of short magnums called crusader by a gunsmith o connel ,im still using a6.5 crusader basically a 6.5 rem mag 40 deg sh
they are talking about this chamber on a lot of other forum and i was wondering if anyone on savage shooters has done this yet and if it would fit into the new sss mag that is out (the one with the bottom metal). i have a 6mm br with a bell and carlson medalist stock and the bottom metal and mag from sss. i might want to rechamber to this because i am having so much feed reliability issues even after i installed the sss ejector. any thoughts would be good.

No this is a 6 mm rem smashed down with 30 degree shoulders. It can push a 115dtac at about 3150. And it fits nicely into an aics mag
is that the main difference between the 6 rem and the 6 crusader? or is there more?
Can it be built on a standard 110 short action sf
12 LRP .204, 200 .243 project rifle. (action), 116 SS action, 200 270
Yeah it is shorter than a 6mm and a touch longer than 243. The point is maxing out the 6mm in a short action and still using 115dtac and running through the accuracy international mag.
Been doing some reading on this really like the sounds of it.

ill have to do some reading on it. i love the 6mm's and would like to stay with them, just need to find a cartridge. do you have any data on it?
I have a sss mag and i think that it would be to long for it buy if you had the cdi bottom metal you could go this route.
