Ended a long dry spell Wednesday

My first deer in about 5 years. Not much to brag on, but he'll be good eatin'.

    Remington Mohawk 660, .243Win, 43.3 grains H-414, 90 grain Speer.

    Congrats!

I think any whitetail taken by fair chase is a deer to brag on and to be proud of!

It's better to shoot for the moon and hit the fencepost than to shoot for the fencepost and hit the ground!

Maybe I shouldn't say this on a Savage forum, but they are fine little rifles. At least the one I'm using is. 3/4 inch groups ain't bad for whipply little 18 inch barrel.
