hello, I can't tell you how to actually take it apart but it really doesn't look any harder than driving the pin out that holds in the striker, it will be under spring pressure. Be careful not to brake anything as parts are getting pretty hard to find.
which brings me to a question of my own, I also have a model 3a that my grandfather bought new in 1932(I think) My striker is broken through that pin hole that I was talking about above, I was wondering if you would be able to post a close up picture of your bolt (complete) beside a tape measure. I need to have a new striker made, as the broken off piece is mia and I would like it to look as close to original as possible. Hence the picture as I have no idea what it looks like. Any chance ;D
